In Malachi 4:6 it says “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers”. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I believe this promise is made through family history, connecting with our relatives and ancestors, and also do the temple work for those who have passed on that have not had the opportunity. I have been doing family history for over 10 years now and have come to love and enjoy doing genealogy. I know there are a lot of young adults who may be thinking “Only my grandparents do family history” and I don’t because it always looks so boring. Well I want to change that thought and show you that genealogy is one of the most enjoyable and beneficial things we can be doing! I will be blogging about my own experiences, posting tutorials, updates on advancements that help with family history and answering questions you may have! This is our journey, but this is my heart turning!
